Royal Blue Corridor Design

Since boutique fair Salon Residence made its appearance in The Netherlands, we were asked to design a part of the concept. We designed this corridor to reflect a different world of interior design. A creative oasis to inspire people with vibrant colours, curated antique pieces from France and renewed furniture.

Salon Residence is an initiative by interior design magazine ‘Residence’ to celebrate to most talented Dutch designers and architects. A place to discover beautiful decorated rooms and to gather inspiration through masterclasses, talks and interviews. In two days we set up the next room. Explore a silver leaf chinoiserie wallpaper, vintage chairs upholstered checkered woven silk, patterns of Japanese monkeys with ‘Tsuba’ swords a Venetian Scheherazade and more.

We take most inspiration from travelling. It seems only natural to us to combine input from different cultures around the world, such as Venetian silk chandeliers together with Japanese inspired fabrics and hand-painted chinoiserie wallpaper. Layer warm, textured fabrics or hand-painted wallpaper and stylishly curated contemporary furniture for a unique feel. Discover the effect that masters of craftsmanship put into their work.
